Wanting to sell a gold pocket watch and chain, I searched first for auction houses, and the highest estimate was £3000. Fees and commission would have reduced this figure considerably, with no guarantee of achieving the highest valuation. Burlingtons offered £2600, much more than was offered by a specialist watch dealer, antique dealer and pawnbroker. Daniel was highly attentive to emails and phone calls to arrange the meeting at my home, was punctual and business-like, and paid the money into my bank account on the spot. Trust is paramount in this kind of transaction, and I would highly recommend Burlingtons as a trustworthy and reliable service.

I contacted Daniel by e-mail yesterday and he came out today to look at Mum's jewellery, that she no longer wanted to wear. She had been unable to sell these as jewellery and was only being offered gold scrap value. He gave what I felt was a fair scrap offer for the gold items and the money was transferred immediately into her account. Happy to recommend.

I contacted Burlingtons as had had a not too good experience with a popular TV advertised company who offer to buy old unwanted items . I sent photos of the silver cutlery which I wanted to sell , got an offer price which I thought was fair and sent the items by post . Next day delivery and got paid on the day and the cost of postage was covered . Very happy with the service that they offered
